5-2 in an hour … Good work team!! :+1: :+1:

I also don’t know how I made that reference at all. It was around the guitar solo part of the song.

I mean I knew the Smithereens in theory from back in the day, but just was bored with the song (which I guess was the link)

We all make mistakes, we could do a score review and see the player was truely under duress casting the vote and maybe turn the vote around

No turning back. This thread relies on how you feel the song in the moment. Thursday night before a public holiday, I need a banger!!

Yes would of got us closer to the next song at least

Heading out. Didn’t think I would need headphones but I’ll bring the pods and give me a good excuse to get some “fresh air”.

Even got @Maxx excited again

That is a sound from an era where I really don’t like the sound.

No.

I thought it was the most remotely thing from the era, especially New Jersey, thats Bon Jovi territory

Edit sorry read area not era

Haven’t voted yet for Bakes.

Yes.

But do better.

Y’know… this is a fair call. 85-87 is probably my least favourite era of pre-00’s music. It’s when mix engineers really went berserk with their use of reverb and drenched everything in it, especially drums.

This song is no different but (to me anyway) the tune is strong enough to overcome it… plenty from that era isn’t…

I feel @Maxx maybe the one to start updating the spreadsheet again, a new blood with a new passion, maybe this thread can be saved.

I for one have faith in the new @Maxx , we need an app that updates the songs build it

The spreadsheet of songs played
Wasn’t it originally designed to exhaust all good songs so no repeats would play so we got to a point of ■■■■ have we run out of songs,

there is still million of songs I have not heard

Name them

I miss the days of no repeats.

It really made you dig deep, and it was great fun absolutely roasting somebody when they played a repeat.
