Incredible that it (and the Mall), which were dated back then, are still open.
Sight ‘n Sound was my go to record shop when I couldn’t be bothered catching the train into the city.
There used to be a tobacconist downstairs as well.
Its also still there, although it’s a chain store now.

The Boronia Mall is a P*sser. It looks exactly like it did in the 80’s, no work done to it at all. Nobody goes in there, most of the shops are vacant… But sight n sound remains.

Yeah, that’s hectic. Respect to the owner for keeping Sight ‘n Sound alive, though.
Thought the Mall would have been demolished & that entire area redeveloped by now. Had my ear pierced in there in ‘88 - when it was all the rage.
