Don’t know who they are and haven’t heard any of their songs. I’ll take your word for it that they’re good

Mrs Hambo was very impressed when I told her Ballroom Blitz went through 10-0. She said,

Are you ready Steve? Uh-huh
Andy? Yeah
Mick? Okay
Alright fellas, let’s go!

Ok, on request a European Sob Story

Visited my old stomping grounds for a few weeks, where I grew up and developed my closest friendships. While I was there, a few friends and I decided to pay a visit to our old school - De La Salle - one of the originals.

We arrived there just before pick-up time and were stopped at the gates. I kinda forced my way in and chatted with a security guard for a while, explaining that we were were Old Boys from over 35 years ago. He said he’d call through to the office to Brother Martin.
“Brother Martin??” I say. “You mean - he’s still alive???”

Brother Martin (who I remember as a sour nasty fark who delighted in taking a cane to me) was indeed still kicking around - and still headmaster. Guard came and told us we could have a few minutes but he was very busy. We were escorted to the main office building and out comes the only other surviving Brother from the era - Brother Edward - who was 94 years old.

So we gathered in Brother Martin’s office, remembering waiting there, huddled and scared as kids, and the old coot himself came out from behind a screen greeting us.
As it happened, he actually remembered us and his 10 minutes turned into 1.5 hours of reminiscing, interrupted by his raucous calls to ‘Frieda’ for more alcohol (a particularly disgusting herbal brew) and “more cake!”

We were then shown around the old school. I boarded there for a few years, and though the dormitories were now split into lecture rooms, the old wall cupboards that used to be allocated per bed were still there.

It was a pretty amazing day.

And now for music

Yes

YES

Yes.

High quality sob story

Have a YES

Great production  The big guitars and synths were nearly brought undone by the lame cliched piano breakdowns you would get in a Michael Bay movie but overall that was pretty good.

Horrible sob story. Why on earth would you want to go back to your old school? Guess I asked for it so have a yes.

Yep

Good sob story, but no to Imagine Dragons.

Saw them at Lollapalooza in Chile about 4 and a half years ago, and they were a bit rubbish. And came across as patronising american dickheads.
