The Reigning DJ King (MKV) @Preliminary_Point2...playing some stuff

Dude, you can get rid of that creepy avatar now.

You won the title very well, very impressive and informative set that was more than just dance music. You managed to pick tunes that crossed over into other genres and for me that’s what was interesting. I never got into clubs, raves, festivals but you still managed to keep me engaged. Well done.

Lifetime Ban is the curent DJ and he will soon post a song. When he does you can vote on it. If he gets 10 yes votes he gets another go. If he gets 10 no votes he’s out and nominates his successor which might even be you although there are a few folks wanting a turn.

P.S. No footy talk in here

Thanks, mate. Just sucking down a quiet ale by myself & reflecting on the incredible kindness shown by you all in this thread. You motley bunch of legends.

But, it’s LB’s turn now, so let’s focus on him, please. Cheers.

True story for the morning crew.

Just arrived home from my local craft beer joint. The taxi driver didn’t mind a chinwag. Asked me if I enjoyed music. I replied ‘Yeah, dude, I have been in the booth for the past 5 days. Just unwinding now’. He said ‘Oh berry good. You pin Elvis?’ I was like ‘Nah, man. Why - are you fan?’ To which he said ‘Yeah, berry much. I saw Elvis live’.

Thus, ensued a lengthy (one way) discussion of everything Elvis related. I guess I deserved that. Thanks again for your patience.

Sorry for the delay, actually had an early night last night. This next one was criminally underrated, receiving no coverage next to their better known numbers.

Bonus for naming the movie the opening line came from. The sob story part of this song is that the star of the movie is supposedly related to me , distantly, through my adopted grandfather, who during WW2 spent time locked up in Cowra as a German national.

Finally a song worth voting for.

yes

Oh man, I really don’t like Guns N’ Roses…

Have a yes for the sob story.

Yes.
GnR’s last great moment, though even at this point Axl’s voice was starting to ■■■■ me.
By the time they spewed-up that fkn awful version of Knocking On Heaven’s Door (with its repugnant “aye aye ay-ay-ayes”) I was done…

Look up the band ’ The White Buffalo’ - possibly who you’re thinking of.

It’s all about the ‘4-after-5’ system.
