The Reigning DJ King (MKV) @Preliminary_Point2...playing some stuff

yes

no.

Sorry, this one is blocked for me.

Gosh!

A friend of mine often wears a Biffy Clyro t-shirt. I’ve never heard them before. This one is a bit slow to get going but builds pretty well at the end. YES

09:23 if you can be bothered.
The studio version really is very different.

Thanks, got it that time. Yes, didn’t mind that. They’re a band I’ve always meant to get around to after someone recommended them who knew I liked Scottish bands like Idlewild and Frightened Rabbit.

I sampled both to be fair, but no from me.

Yep, good song, good band, forgotten about them a bit.

Man, that sounded like a R.E.M song. If Beverly Hills 90210 ever makes a comeback, perhaps the producers could get in touch with the band? No.

I’m not getting the R.E.M. comparison, but it’s weird what some things remind us of.

It’s the lyrics that rock my boat.

You left my heart like an abandoned car.
Tending your wounds with industrial gloves made of wire.
When it’s just the two of us I’m your cute little cup of cyanide.

Have a Sunday fun day yes.

Well technically - the car was already abandoned, so I don’t think ‘leaving it’ is such a big deal, whichever way you use the word ‘leaving’. And there are usually good reasons for abandoning cars - so the author really needs to look within themselves for the reason. And ‘industrial gloves made of wire’? Please! What rubbish. Sound like something a 16 year old would write after their first ‘true love’ went off to screw the local jock. A ‘cute little cup of cyanide’… really…these lyrics are cringe worthy.

Says the cnw fan…

Okay, how about the imagery of a black chandelier?
Projecting little pockets of darkness rather than light.

No?
Okay then.

Yes. Big fan.

Biffy Clyro is solid. Have a yes.

Anonymous tattooed, beardy blokes that NME pull themselves over.
No.
