The video is from the 1992 ânon-narrative documentaryâ Baraka, which is worth watching. Maybe only once, but still. Itâs all beautifully shot.
The song itself was released in 1988 and was later used in the climax of the The Mist, to equally gut-wrenching (good description, Rain) effect.
The band is from Melbourne. Lisa Gerrard went on to work with Hans Zimmer on Gladiator, and when she walked onto the stage at the Zimmer concert I lost my mind.
