It is a really tough read but in order to support the victims and their fight, we have to read the lot.

Just read that, horrendous. The inadequate laws allowing for poor sentences for two of the perpetrators was also pathetic.

Hard as a parent and grandparent reading this to keep anger under wraps to Adam’s experiences. How he’s survived is incredible. Graeme Barry Hobbs and the other monsters just being alive makes me sick .More stories like these wiĺl as @Alan_Noonan_10 suggests will surely pour out. I contributed to this thread a while ago of my narrow escape as a 16yo.
How those glancing and looking the other way including ex players, coaches and administrators can sleep at night, knowing underneath or at the least suspecting children could’ve been abused like this and so badly and for so long is unforgivable.

That was as tough and horriffic a story as l have ever read, but in honour of his suffering l felt compelled to read the whole thing, and urge other Blitzers to do likewise. This journo deserve multiple awards for shining a light on these crimes. Hopefully football and all other sporting clubs are taking stock, although it sounds very much like the Bulldogs don’t want to admit what happened.

I sincerely hope that EFC is making some sort of proactive attempt to investigate this aspect of its history as best as is possible right now, rather than just wandering around aimlessly before getting blindsided by front-page allegations one sunny day. Any club could potentially have been the venue for this sort of thing.

He has already distanced himself from the whole horror story. He is related to the plaintiff, but they are estranged. You would think Gordon would show a little more sympathy for a member of his family.

Family members often hate each other ! And how many second or third cousins actually have meaningful relationships or even know they are related.
Get a DNA test on Ancestry and 2nd and Third cousins pop up everywhere. Some are actually worth knowing.
