I like this team. All ins are good, all omissions are expected in terms of Smack being injured, McNiece despite his best game in the AFL being replaced by a better player who is Best 22 and Colyer our due to a quiet 2-3 weeks. I’m feeling very good about our chances tomorrow night. No excuses boys!

Really pleased they dropped Colyer. Not because I wish the guy ill, but because his form warranted it.
Delighted that the club and Francis now feel he is ready to give AFL another go. Wonderful news for all.

Looks like a good team to me. A bit short up forward.
All will depend on their intensity. Sydney are always intense. If we don’t match them we’ll lose. To win we have to outdo them.

I’m not sure if I’m a tactical genius, but generally the Swans are smaller than us except Buddy and Kennedy.
I would see merit it Francis taking the Goddard role as an extra down back and helping out Hooker with an intercept mark festival to deprive Buddy, and Goddard taking part in a bash fest on Kennedy in the middle taking turns with Myers, Stringer and Langford.
If we make use of our mobile players to stream forward when we win in the middle or rebound out of defence, I really think we might have them covered.
