At least I have (at least) one game that worked out (BoundaryLineGate).
You wanna know how much attention I’ve been paying? Flew up to Sydney yesterday for a funeral, coming back today. Never clicked I could have stayed one extra day for the AFL game.
Probably a good thing, given Channel 7 changed their Sunday televised VFL game, thereby shunting the VFLW Game of the Year to a 9:30 start. With Sydney’s stupid flight curfews I would have struggled to make that!
Yep def gotta hand it to him, was never panicked v Hawks like so many others esp mids were doing. His kicking is exemplary, way better than most. Unspectacular but very effective. That’s WITH the ball, without it, now there’s the issue w Cuts. Yet that “professional” free (coathanger) he gave away was a good move imo. Shows a bit of mongrel. Very hard to leave him out tbh
Time is passing so quick, yet I constantly find myself wishing to get to the next year in hope that this shithouse club will eventually turn it around and win a final.
We’ve got to accept it and work through it, we showed some steel last week and fought through even though there was a number of poor decisions against us…need more of that resilience.

Team is coming along. Still got some some very very good players out. Walla has been irreplaceable thus far, as per Snelling. Guelfi, Hobbs and Perkins all put in pressure wise though, Archie had 6 tackles last week.
McGrath on the wing and falling back to help defence as he did last week works significantly better than Hep doing that.
We are really going to stretch Swans in defence who don’t have any really tall kpd’s. Thankfully no Aliir anymore picking off intercepts at will.
Swans are a fkn tough opponent when they are on, albeit got picked apart by GC last week. We are a chance to win for sure though!
