The Team: TBC is in but is TBC - SYDNEY SWANS v ESSENDON SCG , 7:50pm AEST Friday, May 10, 2019

Plenty on the radar, bit of shadow from the blue mountains I guess.

That’s still heaps

Perhaps bulk passed over Sydney and rest going more below to more southern area

Either way still looks to be a bit about to have a slippery deck

You need to reassess your claim of Clarkson being so successful since he’s started taking the axe to senior players.
Chopping Hodge Mitchell Lewis Suckling, and now Roughead, has seen the Dawks slide consistently towards mediocrity
Not to mention selling one of the better young players in Burton for the one game in ten flakiness of the Chad.

That ruthlessness you admire is the opposite of what he did in their glory years - allowed a team to grow together while tweaking the support players.
Now Clarkson is back punching walls.

Myers is widely rumoured to retire at the of this season - until another player demands his spot, which none of them are actually doing right now, it’s up to them to learn as much as they can from his well acknowledged tactical smarts to improve and take another step next year.
If you want a Clarkson comparison to Myers then think of Guerra- brought in & kept in as an older head while a young list developed.

All inbounds from the NW so the City is likely in rain shadow from the Blue mountains. Not uncommon I believe. Wettest weather around the eastern suburbs and city comes on shore from the south east. Shouldn’t be too bad short of the sprinklers being on…

Got up to Sydney about an hour ago
Staying with another Bombers mate in a hotel across from Central station can see some clouds to the east but hoping for a clear night & ten goal win
Heading up to Moore Park soon via the old KayBee pub on Fouveaux St like we used to when back in the 80’s they gave out free tickets to go watch the Swans

Unfortunately couldn’t squeeze into my old woollen VFL jumper which I used to like wearing vs Shitney cos its been around longer than their pissant club
None of my Swans supporting mates are coming along tonight - one little rough patch and they find something more important to do
They wouldn’t know adversity if it ran them over on Moore Park Rd

I know that WOB & the WA Bombers had a lean patch recently but FMD we haven’t won at the SCG since 2009 - Licha kicked four / Lloydy was skipper / Knights coach
Surely we are due tonight and I want us to win well

Few of us have been making up chants we could sing ten goals up in the last
Here’s one I came up with this arvo

“Blue moon, Sydney’s getting the spoon
Buddy Franklin is done
And now your COLA’s all gone”

Hope we get the chance to yell it loud
FARKN HATE SHITNEY

Go Bombers

If it were played at the MCG tonight you’d be backing Sydney.

Weather in Melbourne is perfect bloods weather and terrible for us

yah well the game is in Sydney and the weather is good.

I’ve watched a few scg games this year.

teams win, but only after the battle horrendous umpiring. Sydney are garbage and I hope the boys stay focused and beat them.

JPK is going to get 42 touches, 25 contested, 15 clearances, 10 tackles and carry them on his back to a 5 pt win and then do fark all the rest of the year.

What about one, or even two, of our players tearing it up? That could happen.

Hewett to Merrett do we think?

Maybe, but who goes to Shiel?

Unless Essington appears, I think we have them covered

Who’s going tonight?

It’s like Beetlejuice, as long as Essington is not mentioned in three straight posts we’ll be fine, its spirit won’t be summoned.

Merrett is still often underestimated. He’ll go to Shiel until they realise how much Merrett is killing them by foot.

Win the farking game.

I suffer PTSD from the scg. It’s been a ■■■■ of a ground for us.

I don’t think he will start on Shiel given his recent kicking.

Longmire will be thinking, if he carries on like that, there’s no point tagging someone whose skills aren’t great

Yep… what’s he going to do… kick a goal?
