The Teams - MELBOURNE v ESSENDON MCG , 7:50pm AEDT Friday, April 5, 2019

It’s always both. always. generated 35 front half turnovers last week though, so we should be doing better from that. Our turnover game has completely vanished in these two games this year, which is a real worrying sign. That should be our one wood. A dependable and reliable source of scores. The stoppage stuff should be the icing on the cake, not what you rely on. We want to find some quality ball movement this week or we’re going to get routed. I perish the thought of how quickly we could drop the bundle if we don’t get off to a half decent start…

Melbourne vs Essendon the game I just groan thinking about every year. Both sides are deplorable by foot.

Scrag, scrag then turnover. Rinse and repeat for 2 hours.

Well. They have kicked more goals than us this season.

And we just dropped two players that have combined to kick 20% of our goals for the year. Soooooo…

My above post is about Melbourne genuinely troubling the top teams this season with that forward line named, not about us tonight.

Hard to recall a time we genuinely smashed a team GC game excluded

This was one it seems

You’re absolutely right.
We have groin injuries, rolled ankles, and ACL / knee issues but Achilles injuries have been avoided.
I was going to credit Crowe for this, but I’m happy to thank our mediocre forwards instead

Stewart is more so not good enough and hooker is living in defence.

Hooker is the one that’s killed us. He kicked 40 the year Joe kicked 65. Firm believer Joe needs a other 40+ a year tall forward next to him

If we win tonight, Jake Brady’s deep house set at REVS tonight is going to be carnage.

Despite our terribly weak midfield. I still can’t shake this weird feeling we will win tonight.

No faith in the coach and selection, or in this case, non selection of a player that should be in the team based on JLT and solid first up form against GWS.

Ridley is stiff not to be playing, and this misleading/deceptive talk of form being rewarded is symptomatic of a coach so out of touch with the mood and capability of individuals and “team”, that they play with zero intensity or intent.

I’m sorry (for the personal attack), but the “dinosaur” needs to be moved on ‘cause he has become a cancer incapable of directing and/or motivating the team as they lurch towards yet another season of unfulfilled promise.

Who did Ridley play on r1?

remember, more than three shakes is a …
