A double fault is an error in tennis.

I know what a double fault is…

I’m wondering what you’re referring to.

Another loss for Maya Joint she beat Diana Shnaider in straight sets last year in china 7-5,6-1

What is going on? she was wining matches and trophies for fun last year.

She is going backwards in 2026 at an alarming rate

Alex wins in straight sets 6-3 6-2.

Auger-Aliassime was struggling with an injury, at least in the 2nd set.

at 15 Aiava hit the ball like a young serena williams. was really powerful off both sides and looked like she’d have a successful career. as yaco said, [it looks from the outside that] she didn’t cope with the mental stress of an international tennis schedule.

the mental strain of travelling, competing, losing, getting injured, living away from home, trying to turn off from millions of keyboard peanut warriors, must be incredibly debilitating. it’s not for normal folk.

It worked :joy:

Demon was brilliant kinda like watching Carlos play.

Ranked 6th now.

What what I’ve been impressed with him in this tournament his ability to win the big points when he looks in trouble.

Hopefully he keeps that up

Apply this logic to any games associated with Essendon

Destanee’s post. And she has doubled down today. She does have health issues.

A double fault is an error (actually two errors) in tennis terms which I’m sure you’re aware of.

I don’t see her retirement statement as an error.

I would think that someone who has been in the system, as long as she has, would know what she’s talking about.

Nah - she’s clearly wrong, out of touch and her feelings are completely invalid…

If she was coping death threats then that’s not on.

Criticism is part of every sport if she can’t handle it then retiring from tennis is her best option or just ignore/block the idiots on social media.

That outburst didn’t exactly cover her self in glory she told the tour and everyone in it to get farked.

Reckon she will be back once she realises that having an every day job sucks compared to making lots of money and traveling all over the world in tennis.

Inside word is that she’s always been a PITA to work with.

The ones that make it to the top work thier butts off and ignore the outside bs not sure what she was expecting

Classic Nino. Just stick to what you know mate. But that might be a bit hard.

Yeah nah her outburst came across as childish.

All she had to post was ā€œI’m retiring from tennis it has taken a mental toll on me and I need to take some time awayā€ etc,etc

Instead it was fark this and fark that

Pot calling the kettle black anyone?

Yep because we are all angles on here lols

Heavens forbid a woman express her anger and contempt over what they feel is an inherently discriminatory system which has caused them mental health injury.
