If Zverev had have closed it out in the 5th set and gone through to the final, that could have been Novak’s last chance to win a slam. The kind of luck he’d probably been hoping for by continuing to play on at his age to eek out one more slam.
I think Alcaraz will have his number in the final.

I went to bed after the first set expecting Novak to lose in straight. Don’t love him, but that’s a superhuman effort.
Novak is 38 years old! Incredible performance!
Novak is the undisputed GOAT….there is no debate. That level of tennis last night was out of this world.

Massive fan of Novak and definitely my favourite over Nadal and Federer and superior to them.
