Wind is a true swine of an element.
Entering the windiest time of the year as we transition into ‘real’ Spring.
Pattern won’t really shift until late September/early October.
Still… despite the wind… Melbourne’s average temperatures (night and day) for August were 9-18°C (2°C higher than average).
Besides tomorrow, milder than average temperatures expected to continue for the timebeing.

A massive big flowering gum has blown over in this bastard wind. What a mess.

The back fence isn’t the greatest at the best of times but it’s especially suspect with these high winds. I can’t recall a spell where the winds have been this damaging for 3-4 days on end…
