What an epic ending to Raw this past week.
D Bryan is back!!

Pretty obvious that someone realised how stupid putting Bryan with the Wyatt's was and aborted the storyline about 2 months early. Probably the right move.
Yep, pretty much. He was stale, awkward and had no chemistry with them or the storyline.
Hopefully he takes that momentum and wins the RR instead of Batista.

Orrrrrrrr they needed something to occupy him for a few weeks to avoid the Bryan v Authority feud going stagnant.

I'm so pumped for the Rumble. Ordered the PPV and got some mates coming over. Party time

If the rumble is next Monday thats a Pub Hol farking score!

There needs to be 20,000 drunk fans at the Raw after Wrestlemania singing “The Final Countdown”.

I Cena gets the mania main event i wont be buying it

Reigns. Superman punch.

Well that sucked

I see it all over Twitter. I don't watch anymore, what happened that was so despicable?

Royal Rumble comments (spoilers)

I may have been slightly under-impressed.

[spoiler]The Rhodes, in great form and seriously over, curtain-jerk a drop of the Tag Titles to a pair of out-of-nowhere octogenarians in the dark match? WTF?!?

I have no idea what they‘re doing with Danielson (they may not, either); but Husky Harris is certainly making the most of his second chance re-package, with this clean win (how anyone thought his previous look would succeed in today‘s WWE I also have no idea).

I am also just a tad puzzled by the purpose of Show/Lesnar. Surely Show is due to be fed to some non-wrestler at Wrestlemania, and Lesnar has to pay back his handsome part-time salary at some stage? The crowd sat on their hands for the extended post-match beatdown.

EDIT: Apparently Big Show had a late injury. Fair enough, though it hurts when you have just 3 singles matches on the card.

LOL at the massive dead air after Orton‘s intro, when the crowd was surely meant to start chanting for Cena? Oops. Ah well, at least this match has Charles Robinson in it, and the crowd chanting for Daniel Bryan (I did like Orton‘s smiling acknowledgement of that the first time; he gets some things very right for TV, even if it was almost entirely lost on the crowd). And then the BORING chant: Orton holds onto the chokehold till that chant stops :D  And then he actually works the crowd the second time the Bryan chant starts. Five moves of doom gets booed out, and a little pop for Orton interrupting it. Orton should be getting heat for the very deliberate beatdown… but the crowd just don‘t care for the babyface. Charlie takes a nice bump. THIS IS AWFUL chant. Cena is seriously invisible in this match. DDP YOGURT.

Oh dear… the Wyatts are Orton lackies? Please no.

Cena was inconsequential and character-less in that entire match and follow-up. At least the crowd gave Bray a YES YES YES for the finisher.

WTF, Cena gets his music on the way out? How the hell did he earn that?

Horrible thought: surely the “obvious” thing now is to tag Bryan and Cena against the Wyatts?

Geez, Billy Gunn is still a massive waste of space.

LET‘S GET READY TO RUMBLEâ„¢

Sandow went from Briefcase holder to first out — and not even by Cody.

Vanilla Glenn Jacobs jobbed out in what is presumably his worst ever appearance.

Rusev did alright.

No matter how many re-entry spots they gift him, Kofi will never be as good as, say, Shelton Benjamin.

Big pop for Ziggler, sometimes the crowd just annoyingly ignore Creative :D

Truth enters, and we get the JOBBER and NO CHANCE 2 WIN banners. And out he goes.

CHICKEN LEGS!

Nice spear by Reigns on Ziggler, and tossed out. Crowd boos; that‘ll ■■■■ Creative off :D

Was Nash really trying to skin the cat there? Bizarro booking there, eliminating him seconds before The ■■■■■■ Horrible Khali comes in. Everyone loves a Big Man Face-off in the Rumble.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder, fella.

Crowd was ready to go nuts if Fandango got immediately booted out by Miz. But he doesn‘t want to be a face, and gets midget-ed out. And then Reigns gets to toss out the midget; they‘re definitely avoiding him turning him face, with this and other actions in this match.

LOL, crowd can‘t count beyond 16 with the Cesaro swing. Poor Seth.

Could they have telegraphed that JBL idiocy any more? But YOU STILL GOT IT.
Punk has been in this match for 42 minutes, 40 of them less visible than Cena.

OK, Batista and Ryback are the brief Big Man Face-off? And was Batista booed into the ring?

Del Rio jobbed out by Batista.

One spot left, and no Bryan or Bray? Oooooookay. LOL at everyone chanting for Bryan and forgetting Rey was a confirmed entrance?

EDIT: There were other wrestlers “confirmed” for the Rumble who didn‘t appear.

CROWD ARE SERIOUSLY ■■■■■■ OFF.

THEY‘RE STILL ■■■■■■ OFF.

THEY BOO THE CRAP OUT OF THE 619, AND CHEER REY OUT. And go back to DANIEL BRYAN chants. Gold.

And we‘re left with Punk and three hosses. Make that three hosses, as Glenn Jacobs interferes and the camera leaves the in-ring action for a minute-and-a-half while we have the final three in the ring. I wish I was joking.

Needs more DANIEL BRYAN chants. And booing of the remaining three hosses… who take another 45 seconds to get up anyway.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!

BATISTA SUCKS, says the sign.

NO NO NO instead of BROUGE BROUGE BROUGE.

At least the crowd didn‘t outright crap on Reigns like they did Sheamus and Batista.

BOOOOOO for Batista‘s spear. YAYYYYYY for Reign‘s spear.

Nondescript ending, as Batista gets the first point of his new contract obliged.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO! (surprisingly not that loud, this time)

Cut to replays, no chance of the live crowd further screwing things up.

That was… nondescript. No blatantly stupid stuff, but also few highlights or phases for the match. It‘s also often the second-best night for crowd messages (behind the RAW after Wrestlemania, of course), given the many combinations of meetings that happen.

Whether Creative acknowledge any of those messages is another issue… ‘Cause everyone knows Batista will create a massive influx of PPV buys, right?

I see it all over Twitter. I don't watch anymore, what happened that was so despicable?

Daniel Bryan is the most over since Rock/Austin, and yet the brass at WWE refuse to put him in the title scene, and didn't even put him in the Rumble match itself which made them ANGRY. As a result, everyone else is now made a default heel (including the title match) as the crowd is ■■■■■■■ on everyone bar Daniel Bryan. They pretty much erupted in pure hatred when the face Batista won the Rumble.

What ■■■■■■ me off the most is wasted spots for JBL, Nash and Torito -_- where D Bryan, Bray and Barrett would’ve been better showings.

I wonder what (who) the Old Age Outlaws, Nash, HBK, Flair, Sheamus, Orton, and Batista have in common?

What ■■■■■■ me off the most is wasted spots for JBL, Nash and Torito -_- where D Bryan, Bray and Barrett would've been better showings.

They were in there purely to bump Reigns' elimination count. Which is 12, which is the new record. But no one is talking about that.

That crowd was brilliant. If you were watching for the first time, you'd think that Rey Mysterio must be the most hated guy out there.

Daniel Bryan is the future of WWE. Creative refuse to see this

Massive new on the wrestling sites that CM punk has quit the company. Never been a big fan of his but that is a huge blow for the company going into wrestlemania

I watched the Royal Rumble, and 95% of what DJR wrote above has gone over my head.

Did they intentionally rip off the plot from Rocky 4?

Given the recent lack of activity here, am I right in assuming everyone else stopped watching after RR?
