Tiggers Troubled - review round 11 of 2024

no one wants to arrive early at a party, looks uncool and desperate

Any additional news on Cox?

That game was deadset hot trash

Did Richmond score their highest score total score in the past 4 weeks by half time tonight? :smiling_face_with_tear:

Well rather obviously wasn’t a stellar win…but they came to have a crack, and we were a bit off. But we are still winning these games. I feel we kind of play to the standard of our opponents. No doubt the ladder position is flattering, but it is because we’ve only lost 2 games. Would be way worse of WCE and Tiges had beaten us…but they didn’t. Remember Tiges beat Swans, and nearly beat Carlton. Next two weeks will be interesting. Oh, and those who don’t think Parish is important any more, regard the last two weeks. Goldy needs a spell, although he did more around the ground than Nank

I actually didn’t see coz I was at the game and once he marked i turned to my mate to breathe a sigh of relief just thinking he’d take the 30 and have a shot to ice it

He did his hammy, what else are you looking for?

Hard disagree. Tigers tried hard. They were still terrible in execution. Any good side would have comfortably beaten them.

Richmond played well tonight as a perception from the ground. They did well to convert some difficult opportunities and missed some easy ones.
We did not look like we were in gear at all. What was the pressure rating?
We did not keep it in the F50 and let them go coast to coast a fair bit. Thankfully the talented Mr Ridley was back.

So like they know what?

Stringer on the interview in fox mentioned he’s been crook all week so iam willing to give the team a pass the past two weeks but if we don’t rock up against the suns then it could spell trouble

Been down midfield rotations and some of the role players around stoppage and the wing for a few weeks now. One ruck not helping, feels like when we start losing centre bounce we don’t have the depth in our midfield mix with the few we have out st the moment

The big positive is we continue to win ugly despite the poor form and a few key outs, which is the hallmark of every good team in previous years. We aren’t there yet but we’re making progress

A lot of these posts remind me of what was being said after narrow wins over bottom sides late last year.

Then we proceeded to lose the next two games by over 200 points cumulative.

I do hope that isn’t where we are at again.

Shows our depth. Our best players were a bit down aside from Zach and Duz, players like Hind and Lav pop up

Last year was bad enough… imagine that happening against GC and FC

Not going to write paragraphs like last week as I am all too willing to buy the excuse that the other half of the group picked up illness this week. That’s the only excuse for what we saw tonight, and it’s what I hope is the truth. Guys like Perkins looked in pain just laying a hand on their opponents.

If they weren’t ill, we are in trouble.

Ridley was about as close to the perfect defender’s game as you’ll see. So glad to have him back. Him staying fit is critical for us. We lose without him tonight.

they are premiership bound if you havent noticed. The greatest team the game has ever seen

The only danger game we have coming up is Fark Carlton.

It sure feels like it mate. I was ok after last week, but tonight’s performance was dreadful.

I have no idea if we play to the level of the side we are playing each week or we’ve hit a wall the last 2 weeks and been lucky we’ve played the 2 worst teams in the comp.

These last 2 weeks have been the complete opposite of what we dished up from round 5 to 9.
