As others have said , this is a game we are lrimed to lose.

The bad side of the inconsistent coin. Just like last week we were just as good a chance to win the game , as lose it.
This week we are just as likely to lose than win.

Only time will tell really as no one could say with sane words that we will definately win.

on form we should belt them. we will.

Just need to match them in the middle we have the backline and forward line to cause damage.

The medical report on the AFL website mentions Merrett and that his chances of playing this week are slim.

hey lusty, I clicked that link and can only see a chick in a pink bikini with a sandy bum. I’m not complaining but how is this relevant to zerrett?

and that is based on what exactly? the opinion of some bozo at AFL media with absolutely no idea about Merrett’s chances of playing.

Oops!! Didn’t even mean to create a link. I’ll just refer to it as “the AFL website” from now on :joy:

Yeah true. I think they’re probably reading too much into Woosha’s comments after the game.

He will not play. That is three concussions this year - one at training in late January, and two since. Doctors will take a very cautious approach. Flying then playing isn’t a good recipe for his wellbeing.

If that’s the case then Myers comes in,

Yeah, like for like replacement.

Guess work before tomorrow’s injury report.
Given Freos smaller forward set up, then
Out Dea
In Bags or Redman ( both reportedly played well in the sodden practice game) or McNiece

Merrett vs Myers - injury update needed on both.

Possible wild card would be if neither Merrett or Myers is risked, we bring in two of the three small backs, and hope to get Saad or Oirish off the chain.
( though I’m still nervous about Oirish and his “hammy” comment post match)

Zaka took on a more inside role with Zerrett out & dominated so realistically only an outside mid might be needed to add more pace/pressure ability.

We also need someone potentially to play accountable role on Brad Hill.

Could be a blitz meltdown if Jerrett gets picked

In saying that I expect Zerrett to get up

OUT: Dea/Hartley
IN: Baguley

According to the coach (on SEN Sat morning) the 2 preseason knocks were not concussions. This is his first (and hopefully only) concussion for the year.

Like that we have Saad and Smith who are used to travelling and playing against larger away crowds.

Fantasia a good chance to return this week (according to the EFC supporters page)
