Did he, or did Jane?
The reports go back to his childhood after he lost his grandmother.
He has been back there with the club and more recently has been seen in the NT

NTFL RESTRUCTURE:

Next year, the NTFL will operate as a four-tiered competition: Premier League, Premier League Reserves, Division One and Division Two.

PL: Darwin, Nightcliff, Palmerston, PINT, S’Districts, St Marys, Tiwi, Wanderers, Waratah.

PL Reserves: Darwin, Nightcliff, Palmerston, PINT, S’Districts, St Marys, Banks, Wanderers, Waratah.

Div 1: Banks, Jabiru, Nightcliff, Jabiru, S’Districts, Tracy Village, Waratah

Div 2: Darwin (TBC), PINT, St Marys, Tracy Village, Uni Rats, Wanderers

The Men’s Division One and Division Two competition are expected to play games predominantly on Sundays and will be a 15-round competition.

The women’s competition will also undergo some changes.

WPL: Darwin, Nightcliff, Palmerston, PINT, St Marys, S’Districts, Tiwi (TBC), Wanderers, Waratah

W Div 1: Darwin, Nightcliff, PINT, S’Districts, Tracy Village, Waratah

W Div 2: Banks, Palmerston/Uni Rats, St Marys, Tracy Village, Wanderers

The Women’s Division One and Division Two games would be fixtured for Wednesday nights.

The proposal would see Friday night hosting U14 Girls and U18s (both genders), Sunday morning would fixture the U14 and U16 Boys, while the U12s would move to Monday night. U10s would remain on Wednesday.

The changes have been made in order to reduce heat exposure and would ‘require careful planning around training requirements for all clubs’.

At the conclusion of last season, a season review process was developed with ‘most clubs involved in the process’.

The change to the competition structure is hoping to result in scheduling improvements, improved home-game model, better volunteer retention, a stronger alignment of clubs and expansion opportunities as the game continues to grow in the Territory.

Thoughts about the AFL Northern Territory’s restructuring of the NTFL competition?

There were periods when we were either locked in or locked out of the NT due to Covid rules.

True but it still shouldn’t have stopped us from speaking to players to come down and play in our VFL outfits. I do feel that as much as Covid has hampered us we still have dropped the ball at times

In the year that the VFL basically didn’t play, it absolutely did.

I think we probably should’ve done more last year, but 2020 was pretty much impossible.

VFL was nearly strangled, staff reduced club still trying to recover. Paul Cousins could attest
IIRC would have needed some sort of legal exemption to bring anyone into Vic.
Doubt that any club was bringing in indigenous from anywhere for development purposes.

Yes, that was true especially in 2020 and perhaps even last year to a extent which I can fully understand but what is this years excuse?

And I fully understand those years but we have dropped the ball this year too IMO
