Earlier in the day, the Nightcliff women easily moved into the Grand Final. Their victim, Palmerston, will face St Mary’s in the prelim (1 goal to Caitlin Sargent for St Mary’s). PINT was eliminated.

Nothing to say Tiwi-wise, but a nuts NTFLW Grand Final.
5.1 scored in the second quarter, and 0.14 across the other three quarters!
The goals were kicked by just two players: Shakaila Gardiner-Dunn finished the game with a perfect 3.0, while Fleur Davies kicked 2.0 and may have some opinions on her teammates…

Women finally get a win in round 5; had gone close to some good teams previously. 87-22 over the Buffaloes.
A different Moreen (Hilda) topped the goals with three.
She sits equal-top for the season with five goals… but it’s a 22-way tie! Others include Tiwis Maria Tipuamantamirri + Jelena Tipungwuti + Tahini Thompson + Taniesha John-Forrest + Alana Coombes + Kathleen Cunningham + Sarah Darcy.
Neat trick having 8 of the top 22 goalkickers, and being one win from five.
Lots of time to reach finals yet!

EDIT: don’t try to read stats on the phone. They actually have 8 of the 22 payers to play every game… and only four of the teams have played 5 games so far.
