That’s the New Zealand version. In ours, the bloke steals a sheep.

Come on, Ai. You can’t just change your answer.

Mr. Strong

emerges victorious in a bloodlusted battle royale, while Mr. Bump is all but guaranteed to be the first one defeated.

The Victor: Mr. Strong

  • Power: Certified as the strongest person in the world, he can bend and tie iron bars into knots and lift heavy structures.

  • Advantage: In a bloodlusted brawl where physical elimination is the goal, raw, unmatched muscle mass trumps abstract emotional traits or gimmicks.

First to Fall: Mr. Bump

  • Weakness: He is defined by perpetual clumsiness, frequent accidents, and fragile bandages holding his shape together.

  • Disadvantage: Before he can even throw a punch, his innate bad luck will cause him to trip over his own feet, run into Mr. Strong’s fist, or self-destruct on the opening bell.

Would you like me to rank the mid-tier contenders (like Mr. Tickle and Mr. Sneeze) or evaluate how the Little Miss characters would change the outcome?

Are there any characters that use magic who could defeat Mr strong?

Yes, several characters wield magic or reality-warping abilities that completely bypass Mr. Strong’s physical muscle.

In a bloodlusted scenario, the following contenders possess the specific magical attributes needed to systematically neutralise and defeat him:

The Reality Warper: Mr. Impossible

While not strictly a traditional “wizard,” Mr. Impossible possesses passive, absolute reality manipulation. [1]

  • The Magic: He can inherently perform actions that defy the laws of physics simply because he is defined by the concept of “the impossible”. He can walk on water, stand on the ceiling, fly, and instantly turn invisible. [1, 2]

  • How he beats Mr. Strong: Mr. Strong’s power relies entirely on striking a physical target. Because Mr. Impossible can phase through matter or instantly teleport away, Mr. Strong has nothing tangible to hit. Mr. Impossible can simply blink him into deep space or make the ground beneath his feet cease to exist. [1]

The True Sorceress: Little Miss Magic

Little Miss Magic is a literal magic-wielder who alters objects and entities at a whim. [1]

  • The Magic: She can cast transmutation spells, turn entities into animals (such as turning others into goats), and make physical structures disappear entirely. [1]

  • How she beats Mr. Strong: In a bloodlusted state, she wouldn’t waste time with minor tricks. Before Mr. Strong could close the distance to punch her, a single wave of her wand could transmutate his heavy iron-bending muscles into feathers, or reduce his entire physical form down to a helpless, harmless worm.

The Hidden Threat: Mr. Mischief (with a Wizard’s Wand)

Mr. Mischief acts as a chaotic wildcard who has explicitly stolen and successfully wielded a powerful wizard’s wand in his lore. [1]

  • The Magic: Driven by pure malice and trickery, he uses stolen magical objects to manipulate the physical environment around him.

  • How he beats Mr. Strong: Rather than facing Mr. Strong head-on, a bloodlusted Mr. Mischief would use magic to animate the environment against him—turning the very floor into quicksand or charming Mr. Strong’s own signature heavy objects to turn around and crush him.

Would you like to explore how Mr. Marvelous (who can do anything perfectly) would fair against these magic users, or simulate a direct 1v1 battle between Mr. Impossible and Little Miss Magic?

Dancing with a sheep could definitely be interpreted as something other than stealing one.

And the critical line that should alleviate the perception problem doesn’t really do that. “He sang as he stowed that Jumbuck in his Tucker bag” doesn’t tell you if it’s the swagman’s Tucker bag or a euphemism for a sheep’s butt hole, that’s being packed.

You’ve convinced me … that it’s the perfect choice for our national anthem. :winking_face_with_tongue:

Not that I’m aware of…the overlap was only just over four years.

Blue Banner are better, especially the chilli ones but that is something that I knew before today.

Today I Learned that Romans (and Tuscans too) call watermelon: cocomero.

I’ve only known and called it anguria.

So the meal was both tasty and educational.

It’s called Anguria in the south (Sicily), calabria is Cocomero and also Aquamelone (very original) and anquria

is purple rain a live recording

Yes, the iconic album version of Prince’s “Purple Rain” is a hybrid live recording

that uses a live performance as its basic track.

I mean…obviously there are whatchamacallits. Overdubs.

But it always struck me as odd…that you’d go to the effort of putting feedback in. That you’d put in that incomplete vocal line, if it was done in the studio.

I mean I didn’t think it was completely live. But I’m still…kind of surprised that it’s partially live.

I feel like that’s kind of impressive.
