No Kylie Reimers love.

Surely there is someone.

I liked Reimers, but he was no Gary Moorcroft.

Sadly have to take Darren Bewick out and put Lloydy in. Head was in a mess. I also called Dazza Damien… must have been dreaming.

Lot’s of players stiff to miss out, particularly Jobe, Fletch, TD, Madden

A former first choice draft pick around the 2000/01 period that, from memory, never played a game for us. I’m pretty sure that was his name, unless I’m mistaken miss_ellie.

That’s a mighty fine list of players there Budge but I find it incredulous that you couldn’t squeeze a certain name of a tallish club legend on that extended list.

I was there !!

Big crowd I remember over 25000 which was massive at Windy Hill, fights under the scoreboard, toilets over-flowing, cold and wet; just another typical game vs the Pies at Windy Hill.

Geoff Blethyn kicked a bag, so did Peter McKenna. John Williams at CHB played a great game and was our best. Pies had a very good team that year, Carlscum beat them in that famous GF. Bomber had a crap year; Jack Clarke was coach and he left at the end of th eseason; John Birt took over and while he was a great player, he was a poor coach with a poor team.

I remember that game only because I was selling meat-pies under the scoreboard and with the big crowd sold out early and watched most of the game from the scoreboard.

Memories of later Windy Hill games when I stood with my mates with our esky full of VB are much dimmer.
