August 18 so pretty early on.
I’m of the (minority) opinion our clearance game is not the issue. Our worst performances this year were related to ball movement, especially players presenting forward of the play.
Scully may be a one trick pony but it suits us perfectly

I agree with this. Even in our thrashing at Dreamtime we’ll still equaled the Tigers in clearances, contested possession and tackling. It was our forward structure that fell down. As it did again against them in round 22 and the Hawks. Forwards getting drawn too far up the ground and not being able to get back to make a contest.
