I thought there was a minimum spend on the players each year. Therefore North should be charged for salary cap rorting - this time UNDERPAYING their list. How the fk do they have spare cash for Polec, Hall AND Gaff? I would think they would be a similar position to us last year where we picked up 3 guys on let’s say (600,500 and 350/yr) - 1.4m…and tin rattlers with their school portables training facility this year have 2.15m (let’s say 900 Gaff, 800 Polec and 350 Hall).

Also potentially trading Goldstein in order to retain Preuss frees up plenty on top of Waite retiring.

For what it’s worth, Brayshaw on Triple M was speaking to Barrett. He said he (Brayshaw) has heard that Polec and Hall are pretty much over the line negotiation wise. But that he hasn’t heard anything about Gaff.
