Do you think rather than AFL saying clubs need to take 2 first rounders in 4 years, then bending the rules.
They should have just said clubs Must take 1 first rounder every four years, and will be unable to trade their future first round pick if havent taken a first rd pick in last 2 years and traded out this years.

How on earth do you expect the AFL to make decisions that benefit them if all the rules were as black and white as you suggest.
