I’m here all week.
Try the veal.
Do not listen to that flog
McClure saying the Shiel trade is still up in the air
Essendon and Saints think he’ll choose Carlton.
Carlton thinks Essendon is the biggest threat.
Hawks think they have Shiel.
Expects Essendon to go harder now because there’s no way they’ll get Martin.
l am not yet convinced that Martin is not for trade. Not yet, but there is still a long way to go this trade season.

They’ll trade him.
so, Setterfield selects the Scum FCFC over EFC without any brown paper bags in sight. Yeah, sure. Believe what you will…
Boomer lives!
Imagine 18700…
So how do the Hawks get the Shiel trade done? The 15 wont do it and they can’t trade next years first round if they trade this years.
They selected 2 x 1sts in 2015 so that would take their quota for the 4yr period to 2 as required.
I’m not sure they can trade the 2019 pick as that would make a 4yr period from 2016 with zero 1sts.
Lol. Dodoro got lucky last year.

Yes but next year is not included in that 4 year window.
No.
wimmera1:AFL will okay it.
I want a real answer. They’ve already had issues with trading so the AFL wont let them do it again.
The real answer is that everyone can trade their future first round picks this year. Hawthorn took two first round picks in 2015 (Burton and Lovell), meaning they’ve taken 2 picks in the last 4 years, meaning this year they have no restrictions on their trading.
Please consider:
This is the third edition of the increasingly inaccurately named “Baby’s first trade and draft thread”. I’ve made it a new thread rather than update the existing one because there are a lot of now redundant replies and clarifications in the existing thread.
As always, questions or corrections welcome. There’s a lot copied and pasted from previous entries, so there’s potentially out of date things here and there.
Before We Begin
This is supposed to explain how the trade and draft period works,…
They’ll trade him.
l believe so, as well. Hangar bound.
No.
Agree, if they’re not going to make a real difference then don’t bring em in.
I would love a surprise Wingard trade. Please.
Didn’t Hawks break the rules with the picks they gave up, for Jaeger O’Smeara?

Problem here is they haven’t given you access to the original document. Here’s the original, in full jpeg:

Yes but they can’t trade next years if they trade this years. That would make 4 years with 4 traded first rounders.
BUST THE GATES!
I’m no under 18s watcher though
Where is Donnington when you need him huh
