You won’t have reason to hate him all that much, he’ll do stuff all. He’s done. Might pop up against the bottom 4 sides and snag a few goals… When I say that I’m ruling out that that includes us

Eg, if Joe was to walk next year we’d still have at least Two first round picks - able to trade up into one higher pick to nab a KPF with potential Star ability. And potentially chuck in a Ricky Dyson to clinch the deal.
Best this year offers as far as KPP is actually the getting of young giant Cian
He may not have wanted to come to us, who knows. But I disagree, don’t think either of them are great but as as 3rd option they are serviceable.

Yep. Full jobber back up spec is all you’re looking at with either of these two. And for us, it’s simply about having an upgrade on Zac Clarke as our back up option.
They’re both average and strictly the back ups back up.

Pittonet would slot into number 2 at Blues with Phillips going. Whereas 3rd in line at Hawks and would have been with us.

when i have seen him play i always seem to notice him following up with a tackle at the stoppage or taking a grab in the forward 50

I hope the club has made the assessment I spoke of and things look rosey and Joe stays and plays out the rest of his career with us. That is the best scenario and the one I think everyone on here hopes for.
I’m talking purely if that pragmatic assessment of mind and body doesn’t look good then I reckon you’d be silly not to seriously consider 2 x top 10 picks, if hypothetically they are offered.
I hear what you’re saying about our needs lay more in key position stocks but talent is talent and we could still find upgrades or add depth in the following areas: Outside mid class/wing, inside mid, small lock down defender, small forward.
You could then look to trade the following years for key position players.

I thought he was ok also, in the past year or 2 thought he improved a bit.
I honestly think the gap between Phillips and belly isn’t that big. This is more so that I think belly is falling off the cliff
