Maginness, Stone & Rotham really are names you could set your watch to.
Was probably that amount over 2 years, as in total, not per year.
And lose Stringer and Sheil for nothing on top of it Essington
I know he doesn’t mind the KFC, but bit rough to say that there is two of him!
This place will go mental when we sign Tim Membrey
They’re at the tail-end of their careers. they don’t have much value. what would you say theyre worth?
Maginness, Stone & Rotham. Sounds like a top notch personal injury firm
Don’t mind this strategy (as much as it would never happen) but only if we were lining up future picks with an eye to getting back into this year’s draft post a Kako bid.
That is surely a no-brainer.
What are you scared of?
More then pick 56.
Sheil had a strong finish to the year and jake played every game and contributed with 42 goals plus they both have a year remaing
Pick 21&37 and we pay for their 2025 contracts essentially pick buying
That we will get stuff all and that we will get wont help us at all
Getting back in would be an option but would require us to overpay. I much rather get great value going back than overpay this year to go forward.
It will help us go backwards and force us to play a younger side.
Only positives.
I like Shiel, very much a cherry on the top type of player which we likely don’t have the luxury of needing at the min. GWS do and with the likes of Jake and Dylan, really trying to have one last crack at a flag.
Not sure we can really hold him back for high end picks despite being contracted. Particularly if we are showing him the door as opposed to GWS begging us for him.
I understand that im talking about the picks we get in return they will be very late ones which dont help us at in brining in more talent via this years draft.
They help us getting Kako
Shiel is garbage & Stringer is mercurial/unreliable. Don’t expect much…
Draft picks need time to develop. If it’s a good draft, then I’d rather get the talent in now. The benefit is unlikely to be next year. We can go backwards next year by blooding them.
