Carlton have only had pick 3 twice, selected Paddy Dow, and traded it as part of the deal to get Chris Judd (Chris Masten was selected by Eagles)
Eagles pick 3 have selected - Judd & Masten
But with a Ashcroft bid, likely expect it to be pick 4 on draft night.
Pick 4 Carlton have selected - Luke Livingston & Josh Kennedy (traded to West coast part of Judd deal)
Pick 4 Eagles - They have selected Peter Matera and Andrew Gaff, so a good selection for them. should have held onto it.

The top end is stacked, but there’s always a small chance who they select ends up a lemon.

I think the trade will go through.
Something would have been generally agreed, but we’re just leaving it to the last day to see if better picks can be involved.
If it doesn’t go through, it won’t be weird.
We’ve handled this well so regardless of which way it goes, we’ll come out okay out of it.
We (fans) think it’ll be weird because we ride the media narrative far too much, but once a player is at the club, the outside noise is less noticeable and it’s easier for a player to get on with things. There’s also the added benefit that the captain (and coach) rates you and would welcome you back without any grudges held.

Thought fark carlton were going to hold onto pick 12 & 14 and go for a small like Berry. Wont be taking him at 3
Swap F2 for 34 as they hold Brisbane F2 now. Steep price but a fair one to get to 3.
