After the Kako bid do we try and trade a F1st with Richmond to get back in, or do we hold both 2025 1st?
And which pick do you trade - Ess or Melb?
Lynch, Kelly, Bolton, Cerra and Houston are not marquee or elite. Daniher had question marks.
Only Neale, Franklin and Cameron were legit marquee players.

Unfortunately, fans (and members) can be farking disgusting individuals.
I see a similar thing (minus the treatment of him & his family) for us if the Stringer trade doesn’t occur.
We need to stop with the bullshit drama. These are professional athletes. They’ll be annoyed for a short term, but once they are back at the club, they’ll fit back in and do what they have become accustomed to doing in the years prior.
I do not think Stringer is the ‘bad influence’ on the team or the club that people have repeated here. He’s never been a great trainer, but he causes the opposition problems on gameday. It would be great for him to be a training madman, but that’s just not him.

This trade period is significantly worse than normal.
Not because of Essendon, because it’s boring AF in general and the media still try to pump it up.
Dan Houston has fetched more attention in this trade period, that Ablett jnr did when he went to the Suns. It’s frickin insane.
Bring in mid-year trades so we can do it twice a year.

They should just have open trading all year round.
Now, Richmond has one of the biggest draft hauls in history - picks 1, 6, 10, 11, 18, 20 and 24!!!

They did it last year too with the Ratugolea trade.
Geelong are very difficult to deal with because they dig their heals in and don’t budge.
They did the same with Tim Kelly.
But you can do that when you’re converting picks in the 40s into valuable players.

I want a format where there is a single bye week (no games get played by any team) and it becomes a mid-season trade and draft week.
