How many times can people pick over the ‘we got robbed by Melbourne’ routine? We don’t want to give up the players we like, and nobody wants the players we don’t want. That’s just the way it works.
We’ve told Lav, Shiel and Stringer to go shop themselves, and have come back empty. Nobody seems to have sniffed Lav for a 4th rounder, can’t give him away.
Was surprised Hobbs didn’t get more attention, maybe we just pulled the shutters down and told the other teams no deal.

We said that last season, he ended the season with 42 goals and a spare tyre.
Was reported that Hobbs is happy at Essendon was never going to gain intrest or wanted out imo
