itâs interesting that we donât seem to be asking a lot for a guy who kicks 42 goals and yet the trade still hasnât happened. This trade period will have been a massive punch to the ego.
The Hep thing was clearly emotional and ceremonial. We âowed himâ. It was the last vestige of the drugs era coming back to bite us, giving a great stalwart his 250 despite the waning form.
Kelly, well heâs retired now so I donât care to pick over that one. El-Hawli was not anyoneâs fault. He got injured as soon as we picked him and was out for weeks on end. Otherwise he would have played.
Roberts was speculative, and came on late to earn his spot in the side. I see no reason to suggest he should have been picked earlier in the season.
I think Hayes was worth a game or two. Probably the week Weid got picked it should have been Hayes. I donât think he had any injury that week, so would have made more sense.
Yep, what does that tell you the rest of the competition thinks of him? If heâs that great, why arenât there a range of premiership contending teams willing to give a 4th rounder for him with a 2 year deal?
It reeks of the entire competition knowing what Scott also knows, that Stringer must be toxic in the group, and not worth the trouble.
I just cant get over the Weid staying and Baldwin pushed out scenario. There must be something that an awful lot of us arenât seeing. Unless the clubs internal knowledge on Baldwins injuries was the decider.
