Trade talk - from October 2024

They might be, but as a club they recognise where they’re at from top to bottom, whereas we don’t. They might be terrible for a few years, but they’re already thinking long term to build sustainable success and go again.

A club in 10th spot is safe, but that’s not what clubs are etc etc

I just want Harley Reid that tastes like real Harley Reid.

GWS are the best club for us to deal with in regards to the picks they have, hopefully Rosa and the GWS team build a nice relationship, they’re good friends to have.

Maybe in a few they years they will be who knows we could also improve you cant predict what will happen.

Also what’s happening to them wasn’t planned or them realising where they we at it was forced onto to them you think tigers are happy with having a dozen of their good players walking out?

So this years 34 for next years 22?

Buddy we’ve been saying this for years to no avail…

Also not sure you realise, they won 3 premierships. Their supporters aren’t ■■■■■■ off at all that their good players are leaving. They’re leaving with good faith from the supporter base.

Would prefer 37 & 52 for the pair, TBH. Or something similar.
No huge interest in Stone TBH

Other than Taranto and Hopper potentially being a bit annoyed they were sold a lemon, nobody at Richmond is complaining about this.

Built a list. Got absolutely everything out of it. Some players now seeking a bigger payday to potentially make up for foregone salary when getting success.

Everyone is happy.

Yeah not sure about that quite a few of them already want Yze sacked and are upset at the club at what’s happening

Has that been suggested anywhere?

I do wonder though, if Taranto and Hopper are aware how long a rebuild can take?

I’ve heard rumours it could be in the 8-10 year ballpark, especially with Tassie coming in.

What about North? Has anyone mentioned North’s rebuild a couple of hundred times??

First I’ve heard of it.

I think they’re making smart list management moves this off-season but yeah, Yze is a dud.

He’s basically their Marty Knights, in there to shoot Bambi and turn the list over before they find a better coach to take them forward again.

Yeah i think so too regarding Yze

That’s better.

I really think it’s waaayyy too early to tell with Yze.

He had a very undermanned Richmond playing some very competitive football at times this year.

Why on earth would we trade 9 to them?
