So Geelong wonât go to the draft with any decent picks if they have their way⌠Like the Pies, I reckon theyâre basically going to keep picking up quality experienced players moving forward to fill holes and replace ageing stars. I donât see the Cats chasing many top 20 picks in the draft in the foreseeable future. This is how it and to achieve sustained success. No rebuild there.
Then, thereâs the Richmond bonfire taking place right now. I say that a bit in jest, but Richmond from afar arenât going about sustained success in the optimal fashion. Now theyâre eating their own.
