Trade talk - from October 2024

I think we would have said ‘for what?’ then ■■■■ off.

He was pretty dismissive tbf. Hadn’t heard anything about it, said having just signed a contract it is highly unlikely that it would happen.

In response to random text.

I wholeheartedly agree with your stance on Redman.

Blitzers are disappointed because he had a poor year.
He is still a good player though with skills we need.

Therefore, if we’re not getting a Pick in the Top 20, it’s not worth it for us.
This whole mantra of players x, y & z will not take us to the Top 4 is getting to ridiculous levels on this site !

True, if they said Butters, lol, bye Reddog.

This didn’t just happen. My understanding is it happened as part of stringer being shopped by his management, also previously met with macrae.

Got any good oil today w_d? We’re hanging out for something juicy

100% agree.

And yet Port are happy to trade away their ‘known quality’ in Houston for a pick. So clearly they value draft picks.

Houston wants to go back home there is a difference.

Not presently. It’s all out there, stone was the player previous I was alluding to.

Other names I’ve heard are rotham, prior and Krueger but no idea where they land.

Hopefully in the bin.

(I’m open to Prior.)

his son

We get his son wears the number 15 like his old man!

It’s a Prior opportunity

Brad Johnson about to go through our midfield next on Trade Radio.

Should be a good laugh.

Trading for Prior is just ensuring we have a whipping boy for Weideman’s inevitable departure. Absolutely pointless

Prior is a de facto father/son, and seems alright. Tough team to break into. If he’s cheap, let’s have a crack.

didn’t weideman get a new contract?

Times are pretty rough on Blitz. On field team is ■■■■■, off field we have no decent trading options and come draft night we’ll be scared Kako gets bid on early.
