Is Rotham decent? Seems basically a like for like trade for Kelly from what Iâve seen. And we know just how valuable Kelly was to rising us up the ladder to 11th. McGuiness is going to fit in what position in our team exactly? Heâs a good 22nd player in a premiership contender, not sure how he is for a potential bottom few side. Prior? Now we getting desperate.
Connor Stone at least has potential, although Iâve seen nothing of himâŚbut gee whiz, I hope weâre not trading a future 2nd for pick 34 or whatever was floated. If we finish bottom 4 next year that could be a higher pick for them. Fark helping Carlton, let our 2nd pick be absorbed and make the difference up from Stringer and Shiel picks.
Only hope is Stringer nets us a 2nd rounder or something and Shiel gives us something of value. Pretty rough on all counts really. We all wanted to lose the off season for once, this is what finishing bottom few in the trade period feels like.

(Rosa noted when interviewed today that it was a tough time for guys like Weid and Setterfield waiting around to find out if they would receive a contract, but we need list flexibility at this time of year.)

Absolutely the biggest flog ever to put on an AFL jumper. Still so salty on Essendon 24 years after Gary Moorcroft used him as a step ladder. And I still laugh to this day when I recall when he tried to show toughness by pointing and yelling at John Barnes from 30 MTRS away marvel stadium.
The bloke is the biggest cream puff going around.
