With Reid, Cox and Stewart all injured, who would come in to play as a key defender if Zerk or Laverde got injured. Or both?

Montgomerie?? Hayes is still not ready yet physically.

When you look at our list and try to answer that question I think it makes some sense to give a guy like Baldwin some exposure back there in case.

It’s like a ■■■■■■ cyclone here as well. Don’t expect clean skills

Merrett hits 2MP with a dart. 2MP misses from the pocket.

Draper takes big grab against Bryan. Misses from 25m directly in front.

2MP takes a clunk against Hayes. There’s a brief handover between Baldwin and Hayes as 2MP moves up the ground. 2MP misses a soda.

Usual midfield types getting plenty of it. Perkins has been playing full time mid, but not as productive.

Walla with a classic goal sneak snag from close.

i’m all for having a look at something like this but my immediate concern is which one of the establish backline KPs is under an injury could (other than the ones we already know are injured)

sounds like this is the most lively walla has been?

which is the perfect way to defend 2mp

Baldwin, Ridley, BZT, Lav and Hayes are the key defenders for both teams. Reid and Cox watching from the sidelines. Not sure if I’ve seen McBride.

I’m not sure Perkins will ever be a productive mid, just not his game which is fine because of how damaging he can be when he gets it, we need to find a way to get him the ball in dangerous areas.

Is Zac Reid doing anything? Is he around?

Impressive work by the drone hovering behind the goals despite strong winds.

Sounds like BDB chanelling his inner Sheeds a bit.
I’m a fan of Balders … hearing him being asked to adapt to a backman role where we need depth and fast is fine by me.

Sounds like he’s a proper footballer… willing to play wherever asked. Keep

Great chase down by Walla. Like a giant clam.

I’m all for Perkins being a half forward, but the bloke needs a chance to learn his craft if he’s going to play midfield.

Way too early to write him off on that front.

Davey with a couple of nice clean touches. Martin snaps truly from 15 m.

Early days agreed. But he looks so far a perfect HFF (movement and strength) and if he accepts that role, he could be a real gun there.
