Look at the kangaroo list he got to the prelims… twice wasnt it?
if everything went right yes.
we still have lots of holes to cover and injuries to cover.
compared to 2023
2024 - key back (McKay), another small forward (Gresham), more run (Duursma)
backup for Draper (goldy) at least a upgrade on what Phillips delivered last year.
unknown - Caddy could push for round 1 selection
A fit Jones, Reid, Cox all could potentially be a chance for round 1.
Jayden Davey - full training, hopefully soon.
still haven’t really addressed BBM
but if we get full season out of Setterfield, and a stronger Hobbs and Stronger Tsatas in there may help be competitive for longer in the midfield.
I actually agree. I think we may finally have depth for players to actually push eachother in their positions
Agree, looking at Caddy, a power forward who plays tall, we will seriously have someone to cover loss of Stringer or Langford, and put pressure on Jones who really needs to shape up in the last year of his contract. Tnen theres Hunter and lastly Wiedeman, who is either defensive depth or break glass tall forward.
I really did laugh out loud!
Chuck Durham in the midfield already, jeeeeeeeeez
Just putting it out there, the guys training look in good nick, and there is no doubt from my seat at work, I can see they look a lot stronger.
What could possibly go wrong from here…
It’s looking better than it did a few months ago but needs more work. Still need another big inside mid and depth at half back.
Allan Border assisting Scott this year?
Cox is looking bigger than previous years. Definitely not massive or fully developed but is only 21 and has lots of time to bulk up more.
What not “massive” just really really fit?
Duursma been training?
Clearly bigger in the shoulders
A more sensible haircut is a move in the right direction.
Have these photo’s been photoshopped?
Or is there suddenly an AI filter that makes players more ‘muscly’.
Seems really odd that there’s multiple hulked up stills of players.
was thinking the same thing.
I need to clear my schedule and see if my camera takes similar shots at training.
