Will there be any match sim training this week; as there isn’t a match?
If so I assume it will be Saturday, and will training be the same as before the preseason matches?
I would suggest a form of match sim will be on Friday morning.
Players get the weekend off as per PA rules.

So based on those full training the only absentees are Hunter Baldwin Ridley and Tex. What percentage of the group would have done full pre- seasons do regular watchers estimate 70%? Who has missed a lot apart from Draper, Shiel, Tex? Not withstanding how poor our injuries track record has been this summer touch wood has been one of our best I would think for some time.

No question. Much improved number got through majority of the summer. Will stand us in good stead in years ahead. We needed to deliver a good club wide preseason to start making progress broadly on field.

Can only hope they havent been too cautious ie havent pushed hard enough to be 100% fit
I was only there for an hour or so.
The health of the list is the striking thing.
Draper, Caddy, Shiel, Kelly, Hobbs all moving fine: full contact.
Langford is OK, the ice on his leg v Cats must have been for a corkie.
A couple of players had lighter days, Jones being one.
Perkins looked particularly focussed after his quiet game.
Wanganeen is the only one who looks a way off. Ran one, maybe a couple of laps, but didn’t look close to full fitness.
Caddy was back to his usual self, showing no care when flying for the high ball. He looks ready to play. He’s in the green vest.

I saw Caddy in person for the first time on Friday.
He’s going to be a strapping big lad once filled out. He’s no stick as it is, but he’s got plenty of scope for putting on size.
