In fairness to Stringer… he basically was with a group of players. If he sprinted the last 50 metres… he goes up 6-7 spots.

Aside from the fact Ben King doesn’t ruck and you wouldn’t be sending him up to do so, nor Jones.

We have Draper who can play that ruck/fwd role that Wright does.
The fwd/ruck should be a competent forward who can pinch hit in ruck.
Not the #1 ruck who is far from a competent fwd.
Wright’s output as a fwd/ruck is very good if comparing similar types across the league.

Wrights best all round performance imo was Anzac Day if he can be like that nearly every week than I would be wrapt

I didn’t enjoy the Woosha era either, but there’s a lot of research and analysis out there about strengths-based development which seems to support that particular approach…

Of course you would.
But frankly there is very few who as forward/rucks out perform him, especially when he has other dangerous kpf’s taking away the better defenders.
You aren’t going to get a near BOG performance out of him weekly, doesn’t even happen from the marquee kpf’s of the league so maybe just lower your expectations
King would be replacing Hooker/Francis in our 2021 structure, not Wright
