Yep with Wright compare him to David Hale, or Leigh Brown, or Josh Jenkins, not Ben King or Carey or Richo.
What? Giving away frees and 50m penalties willy nilly, poor form and selfish play. Criticism was justified.
But to his credit those things were turned around and he finished the season off well.
Walla was obviously thinking he was getting knocked off the ball to easily.
Could now be the big bodied mid weāve been looking for.
Dean Rioli would have snacked on him
Look like a bunch of rough nuts love it
You canāt truely think that Draper is a better forward than Wright. That is utterly delusional.
The reason I brought up Wright, was because you were complaining that people were being too harsh on Smith and Shielā¦ā¦ yet you donāt allow the same leeway to Wright.
My point is that Shiel & Smith are in our top bracket of Salary earners, and they are paid to deliver resultsā¦ā¦
Wright is a role player, who well and truely delivered last season.
Credit to Langford and Jones on inviting all 4 new draftees out to a cafe last night
Letās see if he can at this level play first
yeah wow. heās in shocking shape
heās at day 1 of pre season though = good sign.
Really great to see Hobbsā dad come down for his sonās first training session and even get suited up.
Unfortunately for Tippa he has the natural body shape, that if he drops his exercise schedule for a few weeksā¦ā¦ā¦ his fitness level will fall back a long long way.
I think Jobe & Stringer have a similar issueā¦
someone like Stanton or Coxā¦ā¦ who could do no exercise for 2 months. Then smash out 4km no problems at all.
yikes
Yeah thatās a fair point. Heās only a small bloke height-wise as well, so any weight he does put on looks more noticeable.
Tippaās in better shape than I imagined. Training full time for 3 months heāll easily drop that weight.
I was expecting him to be looking like Rahkeem Cornwall.
Voss is a really good size 193 cm, well developed upper body 92 kg
Voss looks bit like Noah Gown.
First day back into pre-season and as expected there are a few Blitzers already dusting off their mourning jackets. Waįø»laās clearly got work to do but letās revisit his physical condition closer to the season start date.
Got to training for the first time in a number of years.
Just some snippets to add to the great reporting and photos that have preceded this.
Missed the start of the session being the run, but was great to see the talk out on the track. Hepp reminding everyone itās about quality of effort. Big Sammy telling the team to hurry up and grab your boots and make the most of the session. Zerk Thatch telling them to go off as a unit when transitioning from one sesh to the other oval. As mentioned; the laughing between zack and Hindy whilst they were wrestling in a drill and going hard(elbows and little jabs). Even the support for the boys running laps whilst drills were going on.
