This time of year is usually about coming out to training and relaxing in the nice warm weather. Seeing the players doing the basics of their craft and working hard in the sun.
It’s always exciting at this time of year.
But today is cold & windy, had to rug up a bit and was having second thoughts this morning.
But the boys are out now doing some competitive half ground movement drills, coming down the wing. A smattering of the faithful watching.
Saw Caldwell & Cox off to the side earlier doing some light ball skills.
Stringer was chucking some laps.
Lav, Bryan, Jones, Davey & Langford were over on the other oval.
We’re going to have to come up with nicknames for the Davey boys quick smart so we know which one we’re talking about. It’s like Zerrett and Jerrett, except that ‘Aevey’ doesn’t really work, We can’t even use first names, because we’ve already got another Jayden…
