Precisely 1.95.
Which turned out to be enough.
Don’t think we’ve ever had that much since.

" … premiership in 1993 on the back of a whole bunch of untried youngsters including Hird, Mercuri, Fletcher, Misit, Olarenshaw, Hills, Calthorpe etc."
But the 1993 side also had about 11 players who had played in one or both of the 1984 and 1985 premiership sides and/or in the 1990 Grand Final.
The 2021 Essendon side has Stringer alone by way of comparison.
But how many meters of Peter did the 93 team have?

So clearly adding an additional 0.08 meters of Peter should make us invincible.

Or maybe he’s a leader and mentor that goes the extra yard to help the younger guys to feel accepted and part of the team
Maybe he is and iam way off the mark but I’d prefer the leaders be like Merrett and do it on the training track and in games instead
I feel like this thread became corrupted somewhere along the way…
Bonding off the field is just as important IMO. Good to see they are having a good time together and clearly enjoy each other’s company.
What will Caro say about these clear and hideous gang hand signs?
An internal review is needed.

Why all the CRT’s on the shelf?
Jesus. This thread! We are certainly in the pre-season
I’m swinging between absolute outrage and seriously couldn’t give a fark and I won’t know which way to drop until I know whether Zach liked it and whether Brash jumped in with a lol and then forwarded it to his mrs.
there’s a lot of smash brothers melee players around, CRTs needed for best performance
Of course, but still they are no bigger than 48cm, CRT’s went a lot bigger
If you’re not stalking players on IG and Tiktok you’re not really a supporter tbh

Or, 2.03m of Peter is .08m too much.
True or not, but there was a perception that the older guys had their social group & the younger guys had their own so if Zakka is helping to build bridges then I’m pleased with that.

I’m so impressed.
Not only with answering a clearly rhetorical question, but to also make it relevant?
Kudos.
I would delete this before you get banned.
Just one thing though - you mentioned Peter Wright as a good role player. It sounds like he’s in good shape, but I’ve read 2 reports now that have said his marking has been off at training.
This worries me a bit, because I really don’t see a role for a 200cm forward who can’t take a grab.
Put him in the backline and let him punch the ball till the cows come home.
“Not a good lookth”
Yeah, it’s what they don’t post on Instagram that we give a ■■■■ about.
