Training this morning in gloomy and chilly conditions at TVSC.
The good news: The vast majority are fit and were training fully. Jamar & Ashby were on modified programs and are both no more than 2 weeks away.
The unexplained: Captain BJ and Brown were not sighted. Maybe BJ was at birthing duties? Brown’s non appearance unexplained?
Lots of drills being undertaken during the 2+ hours session, addressing clearances, tackling, hitting targets by foot without turnovers, forward delivery strategies and positioning.Most of the above are still work in progress with target hitting in any consistent manner still an issue. As has been said before, it’s worth taking note of improvements on a week by week basis rather than expecting it all to come together in the first 4 weeks on the season.
