A relatively light main session for the week in favourable conditions at TVSC.
A few rested from training including “Leueny and Cooney”! Baguley trained freely and is expected to be selected. Grima also trained strongly and is expected to be a chance. The boys next session wil be the Captain’s Run in Sydney on Friday at 1.45pm.
…and a few pics
Razza was his usual energetic self at training and is currently a key to any forward pace and elusiveness we have to offer.
Crowls is reliable at training and will need to up his work rate if selected against the Swans.
Kommsy found himself cornered by Grima and Crowls in this exercise.
Grimley breaks clear to kick a goal. Another who needs to have a bigger impact on the scoreboard to maintain his place.
Reliable Smack leaps to take a running mark. His best will come when reinstated to the seniors.
Joey finished the session with a number of shots on goal across the 50 metre arc. He still varies the height of his ball drop too much but after a couple of initial misses he finished kicking 8 - 3 in a testing breeze.
Col Hooper keeps a close eye on Joey’s kicking action at the end of training.

I’m going to go all Robert Walls with this comment…
But look at those thighs! Always thought Smack was slender. Looks more like Corey McKernans body shape.
