Training Thursday Feb 13th - in Bendigo

Sorry, misread your post, or it needed a bit of punctuation.

String is a leader both on and off the field, who shows genuine care and interest in his team mates. He communicates well at interview and would be a worthy VC

Yep, and that is exactly what is wrong with our footy club

He was also captain wasnt he in the saga year?

That’s not leadership. Leadership is getting the rest of the team to buy in to everything that is needed for success. Sometimes the above can help that, and sometimes it won’t.

See, only true leaders would know this.

j/k, ben…

There were times last season when Richmond would keep Dusty deep inside forward 50 even if the ball was 100 meters away, Jakey should and could be that guy and I wonder if Blake throws that up as an option this season.

96 hours till some of our players play footy against some players who aren’t ours

Who do we play?

Ourselves, potentially.

I didn’t realise they’d made it a double header with a Collingwood game. Even at Docklands, that should help ensure the crowd isn’t too embarrassing.

A good chance we’ll win then. Lid off!

Melbourne doesn’t have that many ex Essendon players do they?

Essendon vs big Mitch Brown.

Seriously, the recruitment team from Melbourne must think it’s 2001 and Essendon is still good

“How did your trade period go?”

“We picked up another couple of fringe players from a finallist”

“Sounds great, which team?”

“Essendon!”

“Essendon?”

No, I’m at work.

We aren’t going to win a final with that attitude

Being at work is the best time for some blitz training.

After you see me play, it’ll be very obvious that my attitude is the least of my problems.
