Very encouraged by this and makes so much sense. Hope we see it implemented consistently during the pressure of actual matches, and we don’t revert to old systems. This is where the coaches have to ensure standards are met during real matches.
I have been on his bandwagon since day 1.
TIPPA!!!
Agreed. If players fail drop them. No sacred cows.
How’s Montgomery’s disposal, is he a strong kick ?
It’s clear he has taken over from Martin as our best player.
Yeh a solid kick both short and long. Can kick 60m
Not overly. Was training but looks 2-3 weeks off conditioning to me
@CJohns how do you see tippa’s current sutuation. a lot obviously depends on how he gets through the practice games, but I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on whether he, and stringer are in your round 1 side
if i was to guess, and thats all it is, stringer wont be and tippa will, and we’ll run a forward line of wright, jones and weideman
How’s Heppell going at training @CJohns? Reports are that’s he’s always been a first class trainer but are there obvious signs of progression from the foot issues from a few years back? An extra yard perhaps?
Walla in match sims today was great on pressure. If he holds that up then round 1 is likely. Stringer is aways a hard one… he can look a bit out of it at training and then kick 4 goals in round 1. If he has an injury free 4-5 weeks from here… i think he plays
After today and knowing we are less than a month away from round 1 what would you pick as our forward 6 round 1?
reimers gumbleton jetta
davey neagle hardingham
Courtney Johns or GTFO.
I legitimately thought this forward was going to be like
HF: Akermanis - Riewoltd - McLeod
F: Farmer - Fevola - Stevie J
Walla is a lock for round one you would think, gee if he sheds a couple more kilos look out!!
