Training - Tuesday, March 19

There’s more than one train and get fit.

While there are some set principals of physiology, there is also a lot of individual thinking involved as well.

Plus different players are going to respond differently.

Seems fine to me.

Does that mean we can refer to Aaron Francis as The Pale King? I think it does…

Taper. Team will be fresh as compared to JLT…

So that’s my problem: I must be training too much. Better cut back again.

Is John Quinn still the High Performance Manager at GWS, our injury lists when he was with us were massive.

Didn’t Gumbleton’s history of hamstring issues also commence with Quinn’s sand dunes running drills?

I knew it!

Woosha may or may not be the coach to take us to a flag, but he knows how to keep a team on the park. Joeys mismanagement aside, we are running out matches and seasons as well as I can remember.

WHAT? You remember Boris’ playing record but not how we ran out “matches and seasons” back when he was playing???

Or are you thinking of a different Boris you want brought back?

Hah! True, we were the comeback specialists in the 90s (did we even lead a game at 3/4 time in '96?)

But man, Shiel was about 6 months old when Boris spearheaded the greatest preliminary comeback in history
