Busan is a great city. Neat train network, a couple of big long city beaches with restaurants and nightlife. Gamcheon Village is a fun colourful hillside walk with good views, and the Blueline coastal train is cool, you can take it to the end of the line then hop an Uber to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple. I’m keen to go back and check out more.

Yeah, but I mean a lot of freighters. Taiwan was full of them. I mean there was -200s around. Even an SP!

Oh, you’re talking about overseas. Plenty of 747 commercial and freighters around

Also +1 for Wise.

Transfers from Australian bank to wise is instant.

They have very good tech support too.

Spent a week and a bit in Seoul late last year. Loved it… a big city, with a brilliant public transport system (hence, easy to get around) and plenty of things to see and do. Nearby hills too, so plenty of accessible opportunities for hiking etc.

Keen to go back and see more (Busan etc.)

I left from Gatwick in 2016. No issues.

if they’re into custom made clothes, I have a recommendation for a great tailor in Hoi An, and there are some excellent eateries along the waterfront there.

My brother got pickpocketed in Zagreb a couple of weeks back. On a tram, couple of ‘drunk’ guys that swayed up against him while chatting with each other. It wasn’t until they arrived at the restaurant and he realised the wallet was missing, that he thought again about the guys and twigged. Obviously he was annoyed, but he had begrudging respect - he sometimes fumbles around in his satchel bag for ages before he can find his wallet, and he reckons it took them less than three seconds to get into the bag and locate it.

Looks about as cold as Essendon’s flag prospects.

I use 2 cards also, Macquarie pays interest & NAB, pain in the butt if account resets & you forget your login & passwords, handy having 2 cards.
