They were pre packaged and bought from a shop. Clearly labelled. You can buy the same product in select stores here

There was no risk.

I just misread the abf website and didn’t provide a phytosanitary certificate from the Italian govt which verifies the freedom of species of Trogoderma.

The seeds were commercially labelled and packaged

Should just do what every italian does, just not declare it.

My experience is even if commercially labelled they won’t let you bring the seeds in.

It’s not worth the hassle.

Or just do what Rosso mentioned

Have to always rush to the baggage carasel, then while I wait patiently at the yellow line, they have to come in front of me at the yellow line because if you are at the front, you bag comes out first apparently.
Last time when someone did that, mine ended up coming out first. Picked it up, pretended it was heavier than it was and swung it around. Made them fall back which I found quite hilarious

I do find it curious at the exit gates “nothing to declare”
It is such a quick exit (maybe not at Melbourne) that if you walk through those gates, you’ll be out before anyone notices

I just don’t know what people are complaining about with SYD and MEL.

Even CDG, which we’d been warned about, was a breeze.

Depends which terminal at CDG it’s truly a horrible airport though in parts

Blitzers, if your ever on a stop over in KL do yourselves a favour and grab a freshen up at the Stay Capsule place. I often have layovers of 6-8 hours here and a shower and bed for a few hours is gold. Less than $50 Aud and you hit the next leg feeling fresh. Just thought i would mention it as i see many Aussies sleeping on chairs etc, when im sure if they new they would choose a room
