Tribunal/MRO from 2023 - Choose Your Own Adventure continues

Jon Ralph saying he’ll get a week as well.

He’s usually pretty good with that stuff.

He should get a week but different rules for different players.

Both arms pinned and head–>Ground contact is pretty much the standard base for a 1 week suspension, regardless of how your body got there.

But it’s Danger, and the AFL are corrupt

That is the definition of a dangerous tackle. Arms pinned and head hits ground hard. 2 weeks

Yep … all being fair precedent is GONE 1 week

If there is a Golden Rule in the AFL, that’s it

So Danger and Hawkins to miss next week ?

You would think. Bruhn is out too for them.

Its clearly a suspension. Pinned arms, head i to turf

Goodbye. 2 weeks

If that’s not a dangerous tackle (pinning both arms) I don’t know what is.
I know some are arguing Walsh drove his own head down. Regardless of whether that’s true or not, his head was destined for contact with the ground

Paddy dropped his knees in the tackle, thats definitely a big no no …. got to be gone

What happened to Hawkins? I haven’t watched tonight

Hurt his foot/ankle. Couldn’t put any weight on it.

Think it’s the same foot he’s previously had surgery on too.

The first time Hawkins is ■■■■ and we have a genuine match up and he’s gonna miss!
You watch Cameron go back to the square next week and kick 8.

That photo shows that he drove his head into the ground. Look how hyper extended it is. Unless he has a serious weak neck, whip lash is only going to happen at downwards motion at a much higher pace. He knew what was happening and didn’t attempt to hold his neck stiff.

This guy is shameless in his attempts to influence/corrupt the outcome.

Most coaches wouldn’t comment

Surely if Jones got a week, he gets a week. I actually dont like players getting a week for incidental head knocks. Jones shouldn’t have got a week for his tackle. Think tackling will be out of the game in 15 -20 years the way we are going.
